• The Gaslight Anthem are releasing their first album since 2014, History Books. Several tracks have already been issued as singles, including the title track, which features Bruce Springsteen.
• The Kills release their first album since 2016, God Games.
• Taking Back Sunday release 152, their first album since 2016.
• Black Pumas are releasing their second album, Chronicles of a Diamond.
• Duran Duran release their Halloween-themed album, Dance Macabre.
• The Mountain Goats release their new album, Jenny From Thebes.
• King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard release their second album this year, The Silver Cord.
• Wild Nothing release Hold.
• Taylor Swift’s latest re-recorded album, 1989 (Taylor’s Version) drops Friday.
• Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark (or OMD) release Bauhaus Staircase.
• Poppy releases her fifth studio album, Zig.
• James Blunt returns with his seventh studio album, Who We Used to Be, which features a track called “Dark Thoughts,” which he wrote about his return to the home of his close friend Carrie Fisher after her death.
