Detention

DETENTION is a high-energy pop-punk, alt rock band of teens from Akron, Ohio. During 2021, they performed at Wonderstruck Music Festival in Cleveland, Wonderbus Music Festival in Columbus Ohio among headliners Portugal The Man, AJR, Kesha, AJR and Dayglow. After their power-house performance on the third stage, Denny Young, President of the Elevation Group invited DETENTION to play the main stage at Wonderstruck, WonderBus and WonderRoad (Indianapolis) in 2022. DETENTION recently had Gerald Casale of Devo join them onstage, as well as comedian and musician Fred Armisen (SNL, Portlandia) at DEVOtional in Cleveland.
