CD 92.9 FM is looking for the perfect Sales Intern to assist our rock star Sales Team.  Interested in gaining valuable experience in radio sales and hoping to pursue it as a career?  Read on to see if you’d be interested in learning more about working in sales at CD 92.9 FM!

Overview of Responsibilities

• Assist account executives with client maintenance by gaining an understanding of the client’s goals, objectives, and processes in addition to key market and consumer trends.
• Help design, create, and deliver customized advertising proposals and presentations.
• Accompany account executives on sales calls and assist in prospecting potential clients.
• Set appointments for account executives.
• Gather research information for sales proposals.
• Overall, aid in every aspect of radio sales.

Applicants must:

• Be available for 10-15 hours per week, between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:30 pm.
• Be enrolled in an accredited university.
• Be in good academic standing.
• Be organized and able to meet deadlines; be a self-starter.
• Be passionate, insightful, ambitious, cooperative, and focused.
• Have strong professional writing and conversational skills.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management, and clients.
• Be familiar with Microsoft Office and able to learn new programs quickly.
