What is the Lounge?

So you hear your favorite CD 92.9 DJs giving random words used in random sentences throughout the day and you’re wondering what it’s all about – what are these Lounge Tips and what is the Lounge?

To make it as short and sweet as possible, the Lounge is our very own CD 92.9 listener appreciation club that is 100% free to join. Here’s how it works.

Listen to CD 92.9, and when you hear the Lounge Tip jot it down – or do your best to commit it to memory. Then go to, sign into the Lounge and enter the Lounge Tip in the Contest Section. You will receive 40 Lounge Points for each word correct Lounge Tip entered. Lounge Points can add up fast!

Consider your Lounge Points your official CD 92.9 currency that you can use to get great CD 92.9 stuff including: concert tickets, CDs, movie passes, DVDs, Big Room passes, and so much more!

Lounge Sections:

CD 92.9 Contests & Lounge Tips Section:

The Contest Section is where you go to enter your Lounge Tips, but and it is also has some ways that you can spend your Lounge Points. We frequently have contests to win concert tickets, CD’s, and all kinds of fun stuff.  The more times you enter, the better your chances of winning!

Redemption Section:
Use your Lounge Points to redeem for fun and unique items.  Scroll through the list of available items, hit “Click To Select,” and the item will be all yours!

Surf The Web For Lounge Points:
Surf the CD 92.9 website, and – for each link that you follow you’ll get 40 Lounge Points!

CD 92.9 Surveys:
Take surveys for Lounge Points – sometimes they’re silly and sometimes they’re for feedback – either way, you always get points!

Sounding Board:
As a CD 92.9 listener, we really like to know which songs you love and which ones you might be getting a tired of hearing.  When we send out  Sounding Board Surveys you will receive a list of songs to rate. After completing the Sounding Board Survey, you will be given a random word that you then will enter into the contest section to receive your points.
